"This is a gorgeous place with a terrific menu and some pretty impressive cooking.

This is not Eurotrashy, faffedabout-with Italian. It's gutsier - like Mama used to make. Pastas are robust and rootsy, not silky and transparent, as is the fashion in other upmarket trats; presentation is functional; flavours are upfront. Apologies - this is no trat. This is a seriously good restaurant."
